ALEXIS anselmi

Alexis Anselmi is a Philadelphia based interior stylist and design consultant with a background in both interior design and fashion. Alexis earned a master’s degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in the historical and cultural significance of textiles and fashion.  While at FIT, she managed the archives at Ralph Lauren where she collaborated with designers to research and acquire historical fabrics used as inspiration for the brand’s current collections.

In 2010, Alexis went on to spend several years at Elle Decor, House Beautiful and Veranda magazines where she wrote and reported on the interiors and fashion markets.  She assisted with producing monthly market columns in addition to conceptualizing and styling photo shoots for the magazines.  

Most recently, she taught costume history at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Alexis resides in Chestnut Hill with her husband, seven-year old son and English bulldog.

Melissa Gray-Washington

Before pivoting into the world of interiors, Melissa worked in graphic design for over a decade, operating a small design studio, with a focus on fashion and design clients. Her work includes award-winning creative marketing content for a handful of design publications including Architectural Record.

Her eye for color, texture and shape were honed during her early years working in fashion and private label development for Paris-based fabric mill, Majestic Filatures, whose clients include over 175 of the world’s most prominent luxury brands.

In the summer of 2017 Melissa, her husband and their two young sons relocated from New York City to Philadelphia’s historic Chestnut Hill neighborhood.
